242 East North Broadway

I’ve written in the past about this stunning house at 242 E. N. Broadway–a beautiful renovation job by the current owner.

This is the oldest existing house on E.N. Broadway. Here are some old and new pix.

    The Columbus 1915 phone directory lists Jos. White as living at 242 E North Broadway. The 1916 directory lists Jos. White as living at 53 Clinton Heights Ave (the first year it appears in the directory) and not at 242 E North Broadway. So I wonder if he had some financial difficulties and had to “downsize”.
